becoming a dad for the first time

my wife is 6.1 months pregnant,and reality in settling in. we are about to become first time parents in this world and its exciting and scary at the same time. it took some time to become pregnant, (nearly 2 years time),so we sought help through a fertility agency and after the 3 try, the puck finally passed the goalie!

we are both 38years of age,and who knew that it would take some time to become pregnant! but my wife's blood level were off due to her deficiency. she has celiac disease, and takes iron pills for her anemia. so we had to overcome a few hurdles, but we prevailed with the help of the agency. so here we go...

painting the spare room, registering at stores, baby shower in december... and the wife? petite little thing looks like she had swallowed a 10# medicine ball, and doing great!

i didnt feel like our lives wer going to change, at least not just yet, but its coming, and we are ready. although i have never changed a diaper, been peed on, spat on, cleaned a heiny,or been wakin up at all hours of the night, yet. yet. yeah, i'm ready...
